Our River Valley Dental Practice

Tamara received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Minnesota’s School of Dentistry. Tamara has four years of experience as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and as a Clinical Instructor at Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Dental Hygiene Programs.

She enjoys getting to know patients and making them feel good about their smiles.

Tamara grew up in Mankato and currently resides in North Mankato with her husband, Shane, and their son, Archer. Off the clock you will find Tamara spending time with her family and friends, walking their dog “Bro,” enjoying concerts, plays, and movies or planning their next trip.

Lyndsay joined the River Valley Dental team in 2009 after graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She values learning updates in the dental field through continuing education courses. She enjoys building relationships with patients and strives to provide optimal hygiene care in a professional and caring manner.

Lyndsay grew up in Stillwater, Minnesota and enjoys trips back to visit family. She and her husband, Scott, currently reside in North Mankato with their 3 children Kenley, Hattie, and Hudson. In Lyndsay’s spare time, she loves to spend time with her family, friends, and dog Roxie; crafting and cooking.

Janessa graduated from South Central College Mankato with a Dental Assisting Degree in May 2014. During her schooling, she worked at a dental practice developing her skills and knowledge in the dental field.

Janessa has a very friendly, outgoing personality and enjoys getting to know each one of our patients. She currently lives with her husband Randy, son Lucas, and two dogs in St. James and plans on moving to Mankato in the future. In her spare time, Janessa enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and watching movies.

Hilary grew up in the Southern Minnesota area. She attended Mankato State University (now called Minnesota State University, Mankato) and graduated in 2000. She married Dr Pooley in 2005 when they opened River Valley Dental. She has assisted with the clinic in various aspects since that time. She has always been one to stay up to date on various procedures and techniques to help feel and look young (we won’t tell you how much over 29 she really is). When she and Dr Pooley were introduced to Viora, they immediately knew this was something they wanted to expand the clinic with. She has many hours of training since they purchased the device in December 2019.

When Hilary isn’t at the spa, you can find her spending time with her family at the St. Croix River or on the ski slopes as well as traveling (which almost always is somewhere in the mountains).
